Ellis Bextor and her hubby Richard Jones not only launched a DJ club project, called “Modern Love” in London but the second will be participant in this season’s Strickly come dancing cast member.

In 2005, Ellis-Bextor married The Feeling bass player Richard Jones in Palazzo Terranova in Italy. Their first son, Sonny, was born in April 2004.Their second son, Kit Jones, was born on 7 February 2009, nine weeks premature and weighing only 2 lb 10oz. This was her second difficult birth; their first son having been delivered eight weeks prematurely by emergency surgery after she developed pre clampsia. Their third child, also a son, named Ray Holiday Jones, was born on 25 April 2012.
Richard Bio
Jones attended the Brit School in Croydon. He is fan of Paul McCartney and John Deacon. (I am fan of the last too!) He also admires Jaco Pastorious and James Jamerson for their “technicality”.
Jones toured as a member of Ellis Bextor’s band in 2001-2003 to promote her 2001 album Read my Lips. An April 2002 concert featuring Jones was released on DVD as Watch My Lips . He also appears often on a bonus feature on the DVD, a video diary about life on the road during the tour.
Richard is learning to fly. He also performed in the closing ceremony of the Olympics on 12 August 2012.
