Brooklyn State Senator John L. Sampson is to be charged with obstruction of justice today. He was taken into custody by F.B.I. agents following a public corruption scandal involving Albany legislators, according to sources. The United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Loretta E. Lynch, scheduled a news conference for later today.
John L. Sampson is married to 46-years-old Crystal L. Daniels, later named Crystal Sampson. She is a New York City native and was born on August 22, 1966.
There is not too much information about Crystal Sampson, but reportedly she graduated from Brooklyn College, works as an Assurance Partner in the New York Office at Ernst & Young since 2002 and co-leads the Northeast Sub-Area (“NESA”) Law Firms Services Group. Among her duties are setting strategies for the services provided to the NESA-based law firm clients and developing training for the audit and tax professionals.
Crystal Sampson now allegedly manages clients in media and entertainment as the engagement partner for New Line Cinema. She is one of the most talented and influential women in business.
